Keith's career in the technology industry began from the ground up, quite literally, after attending a prestigious military college on a basketball scholarship he embarked on a journey across the country and around the world in 1987 as a young professional. Starting out as a tower climber and technician, Keith spent his early years gaining experience building and updating the mobile infrastructure that would power communication networks for countries both near and far. Through this hands-on work, he gained an invaluable understanding of the physical components and logistical challenges involved in establishing and maintaining the complex systems that keep the world connected.
As Keith's career progressed with AT&T, he was eventually promoted from the field work he had mastered to a role at the company's Kansas City Data Center. There, he was able to apply his technical expertise in a more specialized setting, acquiring deep knowledge of the software, hardware, and networking technologies that drive modern communications. However, Keith soon recognized a pressing need in his own hometown and the surrounding rural communities - a lack of reliable, high-quality internet and data services. Determined to use his hard-earned skills to make a difference, he founded his own company, TurboNet, with the mission of bringing cutting-edge technology solutions to the underserved areas that larger providers often overlooked.
Through his work with TurboNet, Keith has continued to evolve as a technology leader, expanding his focus to offer more personalized business solutions. He has now launched jonesnet.tech, a one-stop IT shop that provides a comprehensive suite of services to help organizations of all sizes leverage the power of technology to drive growth and success. Keith's journey, from the heights of tower infrastructure to the depths of data center operations and now the breadth of his own innovative enterprise, is a testament to his unwavering commitment to using technology to transform communities and empower businesses in meaningful ways.
